I decided to do some inspo posts on what and who is inspiring me at the moment. Hope you enjoy
I was lucky enough to get my eye’s on Aussie label Deshabillé’s Summer collection. They shot their lookbook in Palm Beach, it was utter perfection. 40 degree weather, a beautiful location and a collection to match – my kinda day.
Deshabillé’s Summer collection is set to release in September, can’t wait! How perfect is the colour palette?
It’s whimsical, sexy, elegant and sometimes borderline raunchy. It would be ridiculously efficient of me if I wore a sheer outfit during Summer. There are so many pro’s: it’s sexy, there’s good air flow, it’s perfect for the beach and… it’s on trend!
Dress it up OR dress it down,
But most importantly…
WERRRK IT!
Aren’t we all thinkin’ pink right now? I’ve never been one for pink, but c’mon, we’re all ladies here, shouldn’t we stick to the stereotype at least once in our lives? It’s so girly and feminine, so blahh, but so so so on trend right?!
I recently turned nineteen, and it has finally dawned on me, the fact that, this is my last year as a teenager… *bing!* That’s it, I need to make a bucket list. Why? It’s my last year to be ruthless of course!
It is definitely getting hotter and hotter and hotter! With the predicted heatwaves this summer, you’ll definitely want to show some skin with the perfect pair of denim cut-off shorts. And when I mean “cut-off”, I definitely do not mean cheeky.. That ain’t chic ladies..
So what are we looking for?
- The perfect amount of rip (the rustic vibe is always fun)
- Not too long, not too short
- No cheeky cuts!
- A loose boyfriend fit (for sure!!!)
I also have a dilemma: Ipad 3 or the new Samsung Galaxy Note? #FirstWorldProblems
Now I am off to sleep, who knows why I am up at 1:20am?!
Bicycle chic? Hannelli looks H-O-T with her wedges and leather mini.. Skill!
You’d never think that dresses and skirts would be suitable for riding… Like Tim Gunn’s wise words… “Make it work!”
I was lucky enough to be invited to the Deshabille and Pink Hope‘s blogger’s lunch at The Village. It was an almost perfect girls day out (minus the weather of course!), just a special treat for us! A ridiculously good looking group of talented Sydney blogger’s all showed up to support Deshabille’s Pink Hope collection, designed by the beautiful Roslyn Bellerby.
Deshabille treated us to the perfect day out, where there was a little bit of bubbly, a few scented candles, a table full of fashion bloggers and a delicious lunch! The great thing about sitting on a table full of bloggers? You don’t feel awkward tweeting, instagramming and facebooking. Awesome right?!
A clothes rack full of Deshabille goodies as well! Life couldn’t get any better. The knits were one of my favourites, and did I mention that my Deshabille pj’s passed my comfy and chic test? I think I might be too cheesy to handle, in other words, I had a really good sleep, I slept like a rock… Literally!
Here’s Charlie (left) and Roslyn (right) looking gorgeous as per usual!
Here’s a little bit of blogger love! I loved meeting all of these young and ambitious bloggers! Not to mention Krystal Barter’s inspirational story about her battle with breast cancer and why she started Pink Hope.
So it’s time to reveal the Pink Hope Collection. 50% of the proceeds go to Pink Hope! The feeling of gifting yourself some Deshabille while supporting Pink Hope, I doubt that anything beats that.
I saved the best till last..
I’m going to have to purchase myself a few goodies!
I hope you guys enjoyed this extremely long post.

Being a geek used to frown upon, until Bill Gates once said “Be nice to nerds. Chances are you’ll end up working for one”. Nowadays almost everyone is showing off their inner geek. I love it!
Geek IS chic!
Amen!

Who doesn’t love little grunge? Exactly! It’s all about the 90′s where perfectly tousled yet messy hair is the norm, over done side parts, docs, buckles… Ahhh! All of this talk about the grungin’ 90′s are making me feel, well.. a lil bit giddy
Show me yo inner punk!
