Sequining

This is the last Zara dress I bought. I’m quite obsessed with it, I just love how they have printed on top of the sequins giving this really cool sheen rather than sparkle.

Probably like everyone else I like to shop for what I want rather than what I need.. A.k.a tops and bottoms.

Anyways thank God it’s friday! I feel like this week has gone so slow! And on top of that I feel like I have been marinating in my own sweat.. Not literally! That’s why I love the Australian Sun. Bring on winter! I’m so ready to layer it up!

T-Shirt Time

You can never go wrong with a t-shirt dress. This one in particular was the second dress from sara that I purchased over the weekend. Don’t worry there’s one more to go! What I love about this dress is the texture and the way it transforms the simple t-shirt dress into a more formal outfit. Loving the photos from my new camera? Because I sure do! Cheers!

Golden Affair

Today I thought I’d change it up a bit and put my collaging skills to the test. As seen above I am featuring the second Zara item that I purchased on Sunday. This gold skirt adds another dimension to any outfit, not to mention how brilliant it pairs with black. Let me know what you think about my montage :)

Triple Threat

Don’t they always come in three’s? Today I thought I’d take mummasita to the CBD (Central Business District), and when you put my mother and I in a shopping centre… Well, you should be expecting the worst. We killed it! In a totally bad shopaholic kind of way.

Tilkah is probably my favourite store for great leather goods. They have amazing bags and wallets. I still can’t get over how good my leather bag smells! Both of these bright beauties are made from lamb skin, it feels silky smooth. Not only do they have great leather, they have gorgeous pieces of jewellery. So be sure to check out Tilkah. Here’s what Mum got:

We couldn’t help ourselves! There was a deal! Two leather goods and you get 20% off, three leather goods and you get 30% off. Hence the triple threat. You know the saying “good things come in three’s”.

Benefit cosmetics are ahh-mazing or as my sister would say “amaze-balls”. Yet again there was another deal to lure you in. Buy two items and get free perfume. Thankfully the perfume smells really nice.

I bought quite a few new items of clothing so you’ll see these bad boys over the next few posts. Be excited!

Shades of Grey

My Paps finally fixed his old camera so I could use it temporarily until my new Olympus four thirds camera arrives. Today I started uni at 9 am and then after my 1 hour lecture I had an extremely enjoyable SIX hour break. So Jenny thought it would be great to head into Surry Hills and explore and shop of course! Naturally I spent all morning thinking of a new and cute outfit for our little outing. I hope you enjoy my action shots :)

Bring on Autumn

Finally its Autumn, its time for light scarfs, print clashes, boots and rain. What’s your favourite season and why? Mine’s Winter, I just love wearing layers upon layers and snuggling up to a warm heater.

My Humble Abode

This is my feature wall which is just above my bed. This is by Julie Allcorne.

You can never have too much makeup

These are the two loves of my life. These are literally my babies. What are your most prized possessions?

You know what they all say “they always come in 3′s”

This is my studio, this is where I do all of my outfit posts.

Now for my recent purchases:

Check Octopus in King Street Newtown, it’s the “go-to” store for the knick knacks we all love.

I purchased this ah-mazing diary and spiral notebook for uni. And I must say, the Kikki K in the new Pitt Street mall really saved my life. For once in my life I feel like I am organised.

P.s. My diary has stickers in it!

Enjoyed my new(ish) room? Loved my new stationary? Well thankfully I don’t have uni tomorrow so expect another outfit post :)

Pre-Uni Bash

My friend Georgia had a pre-uni party at her place on the weekend and I thought Id share some of the fun. Wish me luck for my first day of university today! I feel like a junior all over again!

Let’s Get the Party Started!

Last night I went to an 18th birthday party. It was so great because I had the chance to catch up with some old primary school friends. And yes I feel old! It was pretty chilled and yeah pretty fun. I went pretty smart casual. Who can go wrong with a simple white tee and a boyfriend blazer? Exactly my thoughts! I am still so obsessed over my boots. They’re just so versatile! They go with everything! What’s your go to shoe? P.s. I did buy a pair of shoes today, I will post a photo tomorrow. You’re going to love them!

Playtime!

I love playing with makeup, but on this particular occasion it was pure boredom. I bought this new lipstick from Covergirl in the colour Spellbound, Why? I was bored.. Haha! I was playing around with all of the jewel toned makeup laying around my house and came up with this. I know, I know, you would never wear this in public, but I was bored! Yes, I do love the colours and my new lipstick. So that’s my life’s story…
